Byran Dechart is best known for his role as Eli Chandler on ABC Family’s Jane By Design and starring in Sony Pictures’ 2014 feature film The Remaining.

Dechart was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and raised outside Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Acting. As well as appearing on ABC Family’s Jane By Design and starring in Sony Pictures’ 2014 film The Remaining, Dechart has also appeared in feature films Roommate Wanted (2015) and As Good As You Are (2015). Alongside his film and television acting career, Dechart has worked with motion capture and voice acting. He played Connor, an RK-800 police detective android, in Quantic Dream’s 2018 PS4 exclusive choice-based, narrative-exploration game Detroit: Become Human. Occasionally, Dechart streams on Twitch, where he gives updates on his life and plays video games. Video games he’s played on his channel include Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Overwatch and Heavy Rain. His streaming capabilities aren’t limited; he’s gone live at conventions and showcases fanart that’s been sent to him, as well as providing his viewers with a behind-the-scenes look at some of his works.
