Jessica Simpson Says She And Nick Lachey Hooked Up After Splitting And That He Begged Her Not To Lea

In her upcoming memoir, Jessica Simpson got candid about her past relationships and their endings, including with Nick Lachey! That being said, in a newly surfaced snippet of the tell-all, the singer admits to having hooked up with him after they had separated.

Furthermore, she writes that the 98 Degrees star begged her not to leave him.

Simpson has been revealing all kinds of details about her personal life leading up to the full release of her memoir and fans are shook every time.

Jessica revealed that Nick refused to sign the divorce papers at first and insisted that they went to marriage counseling instead.

The outlet goes on to report that, as per Open Book, which is the title of the upcoming memoir, Nick begged her: ‘Please don’t leave me. I love you so much.’

However, she obviously did not give their marriage another chance and after the divorce took place, she witnessed him ‘him portray himself as a victim’ in a documentary about an album he was getting ready to release at the time.

‘He then mentioned the door was still open for us to get back together. I just kept pulling the blanket up over my face because I felt so exposed. It was disrespectful and [he] then dragged me back into his orbit when I was starting to leave it,’ she writes.

The two got married in 2002 and were over three years later due to Nick supposedly having ‘ a wandering eye.’

She goes on to write that seeing him ‘breaking down in front of the world,’ in the documentary made her feel responsible even though she knows that’s not right, now.

‘But back then, it felt like I needed to fix him. He rang the bell, and just out of reflex I hugged him. I meant it, too. Despite my anger, I also missed him. I did not know any other way to make it better, so I slept with him,’ she revealed.
