Joe Rogan Instagram tattoos: Star says fan craze has gone too far

Joe Rogan is shutting down a new tattoo craze from his fanbase after it all went too far.

The Hollywood star on Thursday called for fans to stop a tattoo art project which featured the popular UFC commentator having his picture inked onto people’s bodies.

Rogan has for a while been promoting and giving the thumbs up to images of himself in tattoo form as designed by tattoo artist Noah Bissi, but the latest artwork forced him to pump the breaks.

The latest piece shows Rogan’s face being morphed into the belly of long-time friend and fellow comedian Bert Kreischer — who went viral for his “The Machine” comedy routine, which first appeared on Rogan’s podcast in 2013.

The pair might be close friends, but the sight of his face being morphed into Kreischer’s torso was all a bit much.

“This has officially gone too far,” Rogan posted on Instagram.

“Not sure what to write about this one. I call it Joe The Machine Rogan.”

Rogan’s comments came after Bissi had already shared other tattoo artwork he had inked onto some of his clients, including designs of Rogan and philanthropist Elon Musk, and Rogan’s own dog.

It was definitely time to shut it down.

Meanwhile, Rogan continues to show off his new hulking frame after he lost more than 5kgs over the Christmas period by moving to a carnivore diet of strictly eating meat.

After being fat shamed in December, Rogan began his diet by cutting vegetables, fruit, grains, nuts and seeds.

Instead, the 52-year-old tucked into meat, fish and other animal foods like eggs and dairy products.

And he silenced his critics as he revealed his new ripped physique on Instagram.

“I did the carnivore diet for all of January. I lost 12 pounds, gained a ton of energy,” he said.

“My energy levels were completely flat the whole month. No ups and downs from crashing after eating.

“I had a belly and a lot of people made fun of me, fat-shamed me. I lost all my fat.

“Lost all the belly, lost my love handles.
